An Afro-Mystical Journey Through the Laws of Ma’at
For thousands of years, the timeless Laws of Ma’at have served as a spiritual compass guiding ancient Kemet and Nubia toward Truth, Balance, Reciprocity, Harmony, Order, Justice, and Propriety. ‘Echoes of the Nile’ is a visionary art project that reinterprets these timeless ancient cosmic laws through a contemporary Afro-mystical lens. By blending African traditional iconography with modern aesthetics, viewers are invited into a sacred journey of spiritual exploration and self-discovery. Grounded in decolonial thought, it reclaims African spiritual wisdom as a tool for personal and collective healing.
This multi-dimensional project includes a 44-card oracle deck, a virtual showcase at Harvard Divinity School, and an immersive physical exhibition. Each piece is a portal, a visual invocation of ancestral wisdom echoing from the past, designed to guide modern seekers on a path of self-discovery, healing, and remembrance.

As part of Harvard Divinity School’s Spring 2025 Conference, an exclusive preview of select artworks from the Echoes of the Nile project and their deeper spiritual meanings will be presented.
